PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Punggol LRT line is an automated guide-way transit line in Singapore. The line, which initially opened on 29 January 2005, connects the residential districts and suburbs of Punggol to Punggol Town Center, where its connects with the North East MRT line and the Punggol Bus Interchange. It is the their line of the LRT system in Singapore and like all other LRT lines, it is fully elevated and uses automated trains. When the warranty circle was completed in 2020, the PA/VA system was upgraded.

Ateïs provided a complete EN54-compliant public address and voice alarm system to meet both safety and comfort audio needs. The installation is based on the IDA8 platform, ensuring high intelligibility, full redundancy, and centralized control. A Magellan Desk operator console was integrated for efficient paging, supervision, and emergency announcements throughout the shopping center.
