PROJECT OVERVIEW
FIBA’s headquarters ‘The House of Basketball’ is home to FIBA’s administrative staff, as well as the FIBA Conference Centre, the FIBA Hall of Fame, the Exhibition Hall and the Pedro Ferrandiz Library. It is located in the Swiss village of Mies, a mere 10-minute drive from Geneva International Airport. From above, the building is shaped like a hand, one of the key elements of FIBA's visual identity and can be seen from the sky when flying into Geneva Airport. It also incorporates a steel structure reminiscent of the woven basketball net.
ATEÏS SOLUTION
Ateïs provided a complete EN54-compliant public address and voice alarm system to meet both safety and comfort audio needs. The installation is based on the IDA8 platform, ensuring high intelligibility, full redundancy, and centralized control. A Magellan Desk operator console was integrated for efficient paging, supervision, and emergency announcements throughout the shopping center.
