DESCRIPTION

The CD-TOUCHAS is a paging interface compatible with IDA8 Systems. It allows call-paging, message broadcasting and DSP matrix parameter control.

The CD-TOUCHAS contains a 5" full-colour backlit touch-screen for simple, user-friendly operation. The screen offers up to 168 buttons across 12 pages which can be freely assigned in the software to any zone or group of zones. Each key contains a colour-changing field indicating if the zonen is occupied by a different process. In addition, the CD-TOUCHAS has 3 hardware keys that can be assigned within the system control software.

All paging parameters for site operation can be pre-programmed and stored within the console, including message triggering, level adjustment and pre-call chime setup. Zone assignment, naming and grouping can also be pre-configured.

It connects to a monitored bus on CAT-5 (FTP/STP). This connection also provides Power Over Ethernet (POE). In case POE is not available, or if the cable run is greater than 100 m, an additional power connection is provided for 24 VDC.
