PROJECT OVERVIEW
Das Straßenbahnnetz von Bordeaux besteht aus drei Linien, die die Stadt Bordeaux in Aquitanien im Südwesten Frankreichs bedient. Die erste Linie der modernen Straßenbahn von Bordeaux wurde am 21. Dezember 2003 eröffnet. Weitere Verlängerungen haben die Streckenlänge auf 66,1 Kilometer erhöht. Das System ist für die Verwendung einer Bodenstromversorgung des Systems Alimentation par Sol (APS) in der Innenstadt bekannt. Es wird seit dem 1. Mai 2009 von Keolis Bordeaux betrieben. Die erste Straßenbahnlinie von Bordeaux mit von Pferden gezogenen Autos stammt aus dem Jahr 1880.
